Meet the STREEM Board 2022-2023


Ruben Velsink, born in Doetinchem, Netherlands, got his bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration at Tilburg University in 2022. During his studies he worked in international relations for a large SME- and employers federation in The Hague, where he still lives today. He is currently in the STREEM program at the Vrije Universiteit, combining the Urban and Regional Economics track with the Transport Economics track. Apart from his master’s program, he hopes to contribute to fun and worthwhile extracurricular activities.

 

 

Noah Schneider got his Bachelor’s in Property Studies (Real Estate Economics and Finance) from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a student, he has worked in real estate valuations, investment advisory and CRE strategy, for various firms. After graduation he worked as a data analyst for Africa’s foremost commercial real estate data startup (Gmaven). Now he works alongside the STREEM master as a data analyst for Planalogic, a proptech startup in Amsterdam that creates optimized building designs for real estate developers using AI. Noah looks forward to organizing meaningful and memorable extracurricular events for STREEM students.

 

Charlotte Kaijzer is student from Amsterdam pursuing the Environmental Economics STREEM track. Prior to this, Charlotte completed the Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences and Economics at VU University, with a specialisation in Spatial Economics. Since the start of her student career, she has been deeply engaged with VU in various ways. She has previously been a student member of the undergraduate educational committee, an active member of the study association and chair of the VU Introduction Days. She is currently a student assistant at Pre-University College VU. Charlotte is excited to be involved with the study programme through the educational committee.

 

Giang Vu graduated from National Economics University, Vietnam with a degree in Real Estate. She started her career as a consultant for a prefabricated housing startup and then a property development executive for a Japanese retail company. Giang is pursuing the Real Estate Economics and Finance track of the STREEM program. She believes knowledge is the new currency and looks forward to a meaningful academic year in VU.
